  • Embedded Java Technology mPeer

    Along with J2ME (Java 2 Micro Edition) is being used widely in the phone and other products, and Google is making use of Java technology successfully in Android phone, all has indicated that Java technology will soon be popular in various embedded devices.

    mPeer provides highly effective implementation of J2SE AWT/Swing for embedded devices. mPeer was developed based on GNU's open source J2SE (Java 2 Standard Edition) class library ClassPath, and it provides MiniGUI implementation of J2SE AWT/Swing interface for ClassPath, thus it provides a low consumption of resources, high-performance, low-cost open source solution for embedded devices that intend to use the J2SE technology.  Details...

Based-on the technologies above, FMSoft provides the following products for the customers:

  • MiniGUI-PE V3.0.x for Linux: This product provides support for Linux. The latest version is V3.0.8.
  • MiniGUI-SE V3.0.x for RTOS: This product provides support for VxWorks, ThreadX, Nucleus, OSE, pSOS, eCos, and uC/OS-II. The latest version is V3.0.8.
  • mStudio V1.0:mStudio V1.0 will provide the WYSIWYG GUI design tool for MiniGUI applications, and also provide various development tools for MiniGUI applications, such as a new control set, a resource management tool, a virtual device, and so on.
  • mDolphin V2.0: FMSoft will provide you porting and customizing services on mDolphin V2.0, ultimately, help you run mDolphin V2.0 in your embedded devices.
    • mDolphin 2.0 Home Release is a FMSoft’s unique embedded browser version specially developed for intelligent home (eHome) devices. mDolphin Home Release is fit for eHome devices such as Video Phones, Access Control Systems, and Digital Photo Frames, which features large display resolution and touch panel.
    • mDolphin 2.0 TV Release is a customized version of mDolphin 2.0 according to TV market. This web browser can be applied to IPTV, NetTV and other kinds of devices with high resolution (720P/1080P) output and remote controller.
  •  mPeer V2.0:FMSoft will provide you a J2SE AWT/Swing implementation based-on MiniGUI, which will help you to run J2SE application in embedded device.
  • HybridOS:HybridOS is a software platform and operating system based on Linux kernel and FMSoft’s mature software. This operating system differs from Google Android, it is designed for mid- and low-end embedded devices.
